Complication sometimes is the catalyst needed for momentum. A new perspective is born from the ashes of the fire. Momentum to move forward fearlessly in a new direction. The smooth, uncomplicated road is devoid of bumps and pot holes that propel us ahead into major growth.

See you in the springtime

Standard

It is finally spring! (fingers crossed) The sunshine and the blooming, all of that. Yes, please!  The warmth of the sun and the exploding colors of emerging springtime bulbs just makes me smile while warming my soul.  I just love it.

It really has been a long ass winter and the spring has finally made an appearance.  As a younger lass, If asked “What is you favorite season?” I would always reply, “Summer”.  But now as an older “lass at heart”  I would have to say the Spring is the new Summer for me.  I just love it.  As we get into Summer, which I am totally still a big fan of, the weather is super warm which I really enjoy, but I have officially changed my favorite season to Spring.  Just in case you were wondering!

I have decided to make my garden a little bit bigger this year. I will post some pics as I go along for your viewing pleasure 🙂  I am working on ideas for keeping the pesky woodchuck family away from my delectable veggie/flower treats.  I mean I get it, they need to eat too.  ohio 046

Gratitutude on a Dreary Monday…

I don’t want to bring anyone that happens to read this down, but I could use a dose of sunshine and crystal blue waters.  That being said, it’s time for me to do my daily meditation.  I have found a wonderful set of mediations on youtube.

Sarah Hall, I am so grateful that I came across your meditations and website http://serraphim.com.  You are truly an amazing soul.  I am now refeshed and ready to have a great day accomplishing all the indoor tasks that I need to complete today.  With any luck at all, the sun will come out today.  Just a glimpse of the sun at the is point would be a welcome site.  I also  need to write some affirmations on a sticky note to put in my car today.

Follow the yellow brick road!

Follow the yellow brick road!

I suppose the yellow in the background of this infinity symbol photo made me think back to a Wizard of Oz quote.  I thought to myself recently that there is quite a paradox involved in the Wizard of Oz movie plot.  If you think about it Dorothy had the power the whole time, she just wasn’t aware.  The Emerald City held  the answers to all her questions and deepest desires that were waiting deep inside her to be discovered.  Courage, intelligence (common sense), and most importantly a connection to her own heart were required to make this realization.  It’s funny how as I go along I realize things like this.  At the time that I watched the movie (about a million times) it was  just a fun movie to watch with the fam.

The wicked witch of the west always made me hide behind a pillow, everytime no matter how matter how many times I saw that movie.  Her face in that crystal ball scared me just as much as Dorothy.  The negative inflence (wicked witch syndrome) that she encountered  was just as  real as the positive influences.  She needed to make the trek through the creepy forest and through the field of poppies to arrive at the Emerald City.

She also  needed those ruby red slippers bestowed upon her by her guardian angel Glenda aka good  witch of the north. Glenda never left her side thoughout the whole journey through Oz and back to her home.  I am sure she was there in Dorothy’s bedroom when she opened her eyes too.  She was there everyday for ever and ever and a day and a half…to infinity and beyond, but that’s a whole other movie!

Happy New Year😃

Standard

Ahhhh, a new year is upon us. I am living my dreams to their fullest in 2015. Why? You ask, because I’m worth it, I confidently reply.  There is a new sheriff in town and she is assertive, sexy and wicked smarrrht.

I love me! I can honestly say that for the first time ever. I have grown and learned so much in 2014.  Not looking back, living and breathing in and totally grateful for the right here and right now.  This is my first blog post ever! I have a wild tale that is my life, my experience, my path that starts back in 1984.  Actually, more like 1974 if you count the dream I had of a cross in the sky when I was really young.  A dream that as terrified as I was when i woke up that morning, did not make any sense untill about 30 years years later when I saw that cross in the crimson sunset sky.

A veil was lifted this past September. The realizations are surreal, stuff that movies are made of .  That being said, I have felt compelled to put it all  into words.  If one person, one soul can benefit from my words, then I will have served my purpose.  I feel so strongly that the events that have unfolded are so  notable that it will take some time to unravel and recount, but it is something that needs to be done.
